A twelve page booklet of five petite samplers
which were stitched from the years 1828 and 1894.
The collection includes two red samplers
and another sampler worked in pastels.
One of the most interesting samplers is worked in blue
and was originally part of the Glee Kruegar's Collection.
It includes the phrase:
"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches".
And the fifth sampler is an adaptaion of an Ohio sampler,
worked in lovely shades of aquas, greens and peaches.
Wherever possible, the history of the piece is included,
along with all of the details for stitching each design.
