This design has been created as a remembrance of a very special lady.
Special thanks to the Darrah family from myself.
Their mother and grandmother, Elizabeth Darrah, was an exceptional
needlewoman, needlework designer & businesswoman and a special friend.
We spent many hours sharing our love of needlework as we visited
needlework trade shows and toured places, such as Italy, to immerse
ourselves in and learn of their needlework history.
The central flower, acorn & carnation motif in this design is one used
by Elizabeth in one of her designs and which the family have given me
permission to use in this design for your stitching enjoyment.
